Transportation
The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, about 286 km from Auli. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Joshimath. From Joshimath, you can either take the Auli Ropeway (cable car) or hire a taxi to reach Auli. Alternatively, you can reach Joshimath by road from major cities in Uttarakhand. Buses and taxis are readily available. From Delhi, you can take an overnight bus to Joshimath. The last 13 km from Joshimath to Auli can be covered by taxi or the ropeway.
