Transportation
The most common way to reach Hunder is by road from Leh. You'll need to obtain an Inner Line Permit to enter the Nubra Valley. Shared taxis and private taxis are available from Leh. The journey takes approximately 4-6 hours, crossing the Khardung La pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Alternatively, some tour operators offer package tours that include transportation to Hunder.
