Today, visitors to Haldighati can explore the battlefield, visit the Maharana Pratap Museum, and pay homage at the Chetak Samadhi (memorial to Chetak). The museum showcases artifacts, paintings, and exhibits that depict the battle and the life of Maharana Pratap. The region is also known for its *khakra*, a thin, crispy cracker made from wheat flour, and *gatte ki sabzi*, a traditional Rajasthani dish made with gram flour dumplings in a yogurt-based gravy.
Transportation
The nearest airport to Haldighati is Udaipur Airport (DAB), which is approximately 40 kilometers away. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a pre-booked car to Haldighati. Alternatively, you can take a train to Udaipur Railway Station and then hire a taxi or take a bus to Haldighati. Several buses operate from Udaipur to Haldighati. The journey by road takes around 1-2 hours.
