Transportation
The most convenient way to reach Gandikota is by hiring a taxi or driving from nearby towns like Kadapa (approx. 80 km) or Jammalamadugu (approx. 15 km). Several buses operate from Kadapa to Jammalamadugu. From Jammalamadugu, you can hire a local auto-rickshaw or taxi to reach Gandikota. Alternatively, you can take a bus heading towards Muddanur and get off at Gandikota crossroad, from where you can hire an auto-rickshaw to the fort.
