Transportation
To reach the Limestone Caves, you'll first need to get to Baratang Island. This usually involves taking a bus from Port Blair to Nilambur Jetty (approx. 4-5 hours). From Nilambur Jetty, you'll take a ferry across to Baratang Island. Once on Baratang, you'll need to hire a boat from the Baratang jetty to take you through the mangrove creeks to the entrance of the caves. The boat ride takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Note that permits are required to visit Baratang Island, which can be obtained in Port Blair.
