Kanak Bhavan, also known as Sone-ka-Ghar (House of Gold), is a magnificent temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and his consort Radha. A visit to Kanak Bhavan is a visual treat and a spiritually uplifting experience. The history of Kanak Bhavan is linked to Queen Vrishbhanu Kunwari, the wife of King Orchha. She gifted this palace to Sita after her marriage to Lord Rama. Over time, the palace fell into disrepair. It was later rebuilt by Queen Krishnabai of Orchha around 1891. The temple's architecture showcases a blend of Bundela and Rajput styles, with intricate carvings and vibrant colors.
