Alternatively, you can take a train to Kayamkulam Junction railway station, which is about 12 km from the ashram. From Kayamkulam, you can hire an auto-rickshaw or taxi to reach Amritapuri. Several buses also operate from Kayamkulam to nearby areas; inquire locally for the most convenient route to the ashram.
