Transportation
While there is no direct public transportation to Hofn from Reykjavik, you can take the Straeto bus line 51 from Reykjavik to Hofn. The journey takes approximately 8-9 hours. Alternatively, you can rent a car and drive along the Ring Road (Route 1), which offers stunning scenery along the way. Be sure to check road conditions, especially during winter.
