Transportation

Vestrahorn is best accessed by car. From Höfn, drive east along Route 1 (the Ring Road) and then turn south onto Road 99. Follow Road 99 to the Stokksnes peninsula. There is a small fee to enter the private land leading to the best viewpoints of Vestrahorn. Parking is available near the Viking village.
