Transportation
Reaching Thjorsardalur Church requires a car. From Hella, take Route 26 north. The road is partially gravel, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended, especially during winter. Follow the signs to Þjóðveldisbærinn Stöng. Parking is available at the site.
