Transportation
Gljúfrabúi is best accessed by car. It's located just off Route 1 (the Ring Road) near Seljalandsfoss. From Seljalandsfoss, follow the signs for Gljúfrabúi; it's a short walk from the parking area. Public transportation options are limited in this area, so renting a car is highly recommended for exploring the South Coast of Iceland.
