Transportation
Reaching Lagarfljot Lake is best done by car. From Egilsstadir, follow Route 1 (the Ring Road) south. Local buses also operate in the area, but schedules may be limited, so check timetables in advance. Car rentals are available at Egilsstadir Airport (EGS).
