Transportation
You can reach Bartica by speedboat from Parika, a town located on the East Bank of the Essequibo River. Speedboats depart regularly throughout the day. The journey takes approximately one hour. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Georgetown to Parika, followed by a speedboat to Bartica. Several bus companies operate routes to Parika from the Stabroek Market bus terminal in Georgetown.
