Transportation

Bartica is accessible by speedboat from Parika, a town located on the East Bank of the Essequibo River. Speedboats depart regularly throughout the day. From Georgetown, you can take a minibus to Parika. Once in Parika, the speedboat journey to Bartica takes approximately one hour. Bartica Beach is within walking distance of the Bartica speedboat stelling (dock).
