Transportation
From Guatemala City, you can take a direct shuttle bus to Panajachel. Several companies offer this service, departing from various locations in the city. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours. Alternatively, you can take a 'chicken bus' (local bus), which is a more budget-friendly option but involves multiple transfers and a longer travel time. From Antigua, shuttle buses are also readily available.
