Welcome to Afandou Beach, one of the longest and most popular beaches on Rhodes! Stretching for over 4 kilometers, this expansive shoreline offers something for everyone, from sunbathers and swimmers to watersports enthusiasts and families. With its clear, turquoise waters and seemingly endless stretch of sand and pebbles, Afandou Beach is the perfect place to unwind and soak up the Mediterranean sun. Afandou Beach is known for its unique blend of sand and pebbles, creating a natural and unspoiled environment. The water is generally calm and shallow, making it ideal for swimming and paddling, especially for families with young children. The beach is well-organized with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available for rent, as well as a variety of beach bars and tavernas serving refreshing drinks and delicious snacks. Beyond sunbathing and swimming, Afandou Beach offers a range of activities to keep you entertained. Try your hand at windsurfing or kitesurfing, or take a boat trip along the coast. Golf enthusiasts will be delighted to find a championship golf course located right next to the beach. After a day of fun in the sun, head to one of the local tavernas and indulge in fresh seafood and traditional Greek dishes. Don't miss the opportunity to try the local "mezedes" (appetizers) and a glass of chilled ouzo, the perfect way to end a perfect day at Afandou Beach.
