Transportation
The easiest way to reach the Citadel of Mycenae is by car. From Athens, take the E94 highway towards Corinth and then follow the signs to Mycenae. The drive takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a KTEL bus from Athens' Kifissos Bus Station to Mycenae. The bus journey takes around 2 hours, and you'll need to walk or take a taxi from the Mycenae bus stop to the Citadel (approximately 1km).
