Transportation
The Mega Spilaio Monastery is best reached by car. From Kalavryta, follow the road towards Diakopto. The monastery is located a few kilometers outside of Kalavryta. There are also taxi services available from Kalavryta. Alternatively, you can take the scenic rack railway from Diakopto to Kalavryta and then take a taxi or bus to the monastery.
