Transportation
Lübeck Old Town is best explored on foot. The central train station (Lübeck Hauptbahnhof) is located just outside the Old Town, making it easily accessible by train. For example, bus lines 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 30, 31, 32, 39, 40, 8720, 8730, 8740, 8750, 8760, 8770, 8780, and 8810 all stop at or near the Markt.
