Transportation
The easiest way to reach the Wankbahn (cable car) is by bus from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Bus lines 4 and 5 stop near the Wankbahn valley station. From the Garmisch-Partenkirchen train station, it's approximately a 20-minute walk to the Wankbahn.
