Transportation
The easiest way to reach Eibsee is by car. There are several parking lots available near the lake. Alternatively, you can take the Bayerische Zugspitzbahn (cogwheel train) from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Eibsee station. From there, it's a short walk to the lake. Bus lines also connect Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Eibsee.
