Transportation

While there isn't a bus stop directly at the base of Freeden, you can take bus line 466 from Osnabrück towards Bad Iburg. Get off at the "Bad Iburg Charlottensee" stop. From there, it's a pleasant walk of approximately 20-30 minutes to the hiking trails leading up Freeden.
