Transportation
The most common way to reach Kazbegi is by taking a marshrutka (minibus) from Didube bus station in Tbilisi. Marshrutkas depart regularly throughout the day and the journey takes approximately 3-4 hours. Alternatively, you can hire a private taxi or rent a car in Tbilisi. The road to Kazbegi is scenic but can be challenging in winter due to snow and ice.
