Transportation
The most convenient way to reach Gremi is by car or taxi from Telavi, the regional capital of Kakheti. Marshrutkas (minibuses) also run from Telavi to Gremi, but they may be infrequent. Check the schedule at the Telavi bus station. From Tbilisi, you can take a marshrutka to Telavi and then transfer to another marshrutka or taxi to Gremi.
