Plage Beau Rivage Guide
Beau Rivage Beach: Sun, Sand, and Sophistication on the French Riviera Guide
Welcome to Plage Beau Rivage, one of Nice's most iconic and glamorous beaches! More than just a stretch of sand and pebbles, Beau Rivage is a lifestyle, a place to see and be seen, and a quintessential Riviera experience. Imagine yourself lounging on a comfortable sunbed, the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean lapping gently at the shore, and the warm sun kissing your skin. This is the epitome of relaxation and indulgence. Beau Rivage boasts a rich history, having been a popular destination for the elite since the Belle Époque. Its name, meaning "beautiful shore," perfectly captures its allure. Over the years, it has evolved from a simple beach into a sophisticated haven, offering private beach clubs, restaurants, and water sports activities. It's a place where history and modern luxury seamlessly blend. Whether you're looking to soak up the sun, take a refreshing dip in the sea, or enjoy a delicious meal with stunning views, Beau Rivage has something for everyone. Rent a sunbed and umbrella for a relaxing day on the beach, try your hand at paddleboarding or jet skiing, or indulge in a delectable lunch at one of the beachside restaurants. Don't forget to sample some local specialties like socca (a chickpea pancake) or salade niçoise while you're there!
Transportation
The beach is easily accessible by foot from most locations in central Nice. Several bus lines also stop nearby along the Promenade des Anglais. Look for bus stops with signs indicating 'Promenade des Anglais' or 'Albert 1er/Verdun'. The tram also stops at Masséna station, which is a short walk to the beach.
