Getting to Las Terrenas typically involves flying into El Catey International Airport (AZS), also known as Samaná El Catey International Airport, which is about a 30-minute drive away. Once in Las Terrenas, motoconchos (motorcycle taxis) are a popular and affordable way to get around town. Public buses, called guaguas, also operate on the main roads.
