The cave system is also home to a small lake, adding to its allure. It offers visitors a chance to explore an underground world filled with geological wonders. The cave's formation dates back millions of years, shaped by the slow and steady action of water on the limestone bedrock. The unique "Turold limestone" is characterized by its porous structure and the presence of fossils. The cave was discovered relatively recently and opened to the public in the 1990s. Since then, it has become a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. The tours provide information about the cave's geology, history, and the unique ecosystem it supports.
