Pravčická brána: Witness the Majesty of Nature's Arch Guide

Pravčická brána (Pravcicka Gate) is the largest natural sandstone arch in Europe and a symbol of Bohemian Switzerland National Park. This magnificent rock formation stands as a testament to the power of nature and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. A visit to Pravčická brána is an unforgettable experience, showcasing the raw beauty and geological wonders of the Czech Republic. The Pravčická brána has been a popular tourist destination since the 19th century. A hotel, Sokolí hnízdo (Falcon's Nest), was built right next to the arch in 1881, providing accommodation and refreshments for visitors. The arch itself is a fragile geological formation, and climbing on it has been prohibited since 1982 to prevent further erosion. The area has been carefully managed to preserve its natural beauty and ensure its longevity. Visitors can admire the Pravčická brána from various viewpoints and hiking trails. The Sokolí hnízdo hotel offers a restaurant with stunning views. Several hiking trails of varying difficulty levels lead to and around the arch, allowing visitors to explore the surrounding sandstone formations and forests. The trails are well-marked and offer opportunities for both leisurely strolls and more challenging hikes. The Sokolí hnízdo restaurant offers traditional Czech cuisine.
