Transportation

The easiest way to reach Varadero Beach is by flying into Juan Gualberto Gómez Airport (VRA), which is located about 25 kilometers from the beach. From the airport, you can take a taxi or a Viazul bus to Varadero. Within Varadero, you can get around by taxi, tourist bus (hop-on-hop-off), or by renting a scooter or car.
