Transportation
The most common way to reach Plitvice Lakes National Park is by bus. Numerous bus companies operate routes from major Croatian cities like Zagreb, Zadar, and Split. From Zagreb, buses depart frequently from the main bus station (Autobusni kolodvor Zagreb). The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours. From Zadar and Split, the journey is slightly longer, around 3-4 hours. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you can easily navigate the park using the internal bus system and walking trails.
