Transportation
Accessing Arco Beach requires a bit of an adventure. The easiest way is to drive to the Marino Ballena National Park entrance near Uvita and then walk south along the beach during low tide. Be sure to check the tide charts before you go, as the caves are only accessible during low tide. Alternatively, you can hire a boat from Uvita to take you directly to Arco Beach. Some tour operators also offer guided hikes to the beach through the rainforest. From Uvita, take the Costanera Sur (Highway 34) south. The entrance to Marino Ballena National Park will be on your left.
