Transportation
Playa Punta Uva is easily accessible from Puerto Viejo. The most common way to get there is by bus. Take the bus heading towards Manzanillo from the Puerto Viejo bus terminal. Ask the driver to drop you off at Punta Uva. The bus ride is approximately 15-20 minutes. Alternatively, you can rent a bicycle in Puerto Viejo and cycle to Punta Uva, which is a scenic and enjoyable ride. Taxis are also available.
