Transportation
The most common way to reach Gandoca-Manzanillo is by bus from Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. Buses depart regularly from the Puerto Viejo bus terminal and take approximately 45 minutes to an hour to reach Manzanillo. From Manzanillo, you can walk to the entrance of the refuge. Alternatively, you can hire a taxi from Puerto Viejo.
