Transportation
The most common way to reach Gandoca Lagoon is by bus from Puerto Viejo de Talamanca to Manzanillo. From Manzanillo, you can walk or take a short taxi ride to the entrance of the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge, where the lagoon is located. The bus journey from Puerto Viejo takes approximately 30-45 minutes.
