Transportation
The easiest way to reach Catarata Llanos de Cortes is by car. From Liberia, take the Inter-American Highway (Route 1) north towards Bagaces. Turn right onto the road leading to the waterfall (there are signs). The road is paved for most of the way, but the last section is a well-maintained gravel road. Parking is available near the entrance. Buses also run from Liberia to Bagaces, and from there you can take a taxi to the waterfall.
