Transportation
To reach El Cabo San Juan, you'll first need to get to the entrance of Tayrona National Natural Park (El Zaino). From Santa Marta, take a bus heading towards Palomino or Riohacha. From El Zaino, you can either hike (approximately 2-3 hours) or take a shuttle bus to the park entrance near Cañaveral. From there, it's another hike of about 2-3 hours to reach El Cabo San Juan. Consider hiring a horse for part of the journey to ease the trek.
