Transportation
You can reach El Peñol by bus from Medellín. Buses depart regularly from the Terminal del Norte in Medellín and take approximately 2-3 hours to reach El Peñol. From El Peñol town, you can take a tuk-tuk or taxi to the base of the rock. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Guatapé to El Peñol, which is a shorter and more frequent option. The bus will drop you off near the base of the rock.
