Transportation

The most common way to reach Cascada de Marinka is from Minca. From Santa Marta, take a bus to Minca (approx. 45 minutes). Once in Minca, you can either hike to the falls (approx. 1.5-2 hours) or hire a mototaxi (motorcycle taxi) for a quicker ride (approx. 20-30 minutes). The hike is beautiful but can be challenging in the heat, so bring plenty of water. Mototaxis are readily available in Minca's main square.
