Transportation
Getting to Playa Arco Iris requires traveling to Cabo de la Vela first. From Riohacha, take a bus or collectivo to Uribia. From Uribia, you'll need to hire a 4x4 vehicle or join a tour to Cabo de la Vela, as the roads are unpaved. Once in Cabo de la Vela, Playa Arco Iris is accessible by walking, hiring a motorcycle taxi, or taking a boat trip. It's located a bit further from the town center than some of the other beaches, so a motorcycle taxi or boat might be the most convenient options. Be sure to negotiate the price beforehand.
