Transportation
The most convenient way to reach Reserva Nacional Rio Clarillo is by car. From Santiago, take the Ruta G-25 towards San José de Maipo. Continue past San José de Maipo towards Pirque. The entrance to the reserve is located off the G-25. Public transportation is limited. You can take a bus from Santiago to San José de Maipo, but you will need to arrange for a taxi or other transportation to reach the reserve entrance, which is several kilometers outside of town.
