Coastal Charm and Camping Fun: Linkletter Provincial Park Guide
Escape to the tranquility of Linkletter Provincial Park, a beautiful coastal retreat just outside of Summerside. This park offers stunning views of the Northumberland Strait, a sandy beach perfect for swimming and sunbathing, and a peaceful campground for those seeking an overnight adventure. Whether you're looking for a relaxing day trip or a longer stay, Linkletter Provincial Park provides a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Linkletter Provincial Park is a relatively recent addition to PEI's park system, established to preserve its natural beauty and provide recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. The park's main draw is its picturesque beach, where you can swim, build sandcastles, or simply relax and soak up the sun. The campground offers a variety of campsites, from wooded sites to open areas with ocean views. It's a popular spot for families and nature lovers alike. While there isn't a specific culinary tradition within the park itself, you can easily pack a picnic to enjoy on the beach or at your campsite. Alternatively, Summerside is just a short drive away, offering a wide range of restaurants and cafes. Consider grabbing some fresh seafood or a classic PEI potato dish to complete your park experience.
