Step into a Fairytale: Discover the Magic of the Enchanted Forest Guide

The Enchanted Forest is a whimsical and enchanting attraction that brings classic fairy tales to life. Nestled amidst the lush forests of British Columbia, just west of Revelstoke, this family-friendly park features over 350 handcrafted figurines and structures depicting beloved characters and scenes from stories like Snow White, the Three Little Pigs, and Humpty Dumpty. It's a delightful experience for visitors of all ages, offering a chance to reconnect with childhood wonder and imagination. The Enchanted Forest was the creation of Doris Needham, who began building the park in the 1950s. Her vision was to create a place where children could experience the magic of fairy tales in a natural setting. Over the years, the park has grown and evolved, but it has remained true to its original spirit of whimsy and enchantment. The park is now owned and operated by Rocky Mountain Coaster, adding a new dimension of thrill to the experience. Visitors can wander through the forest trails, discovering hidden grottoes, towering castles, and charming cottages. The park also features a giant cedar stump house, a nature walk, and a playground. In addition to the fairytale displays, the Enchanted Forest is home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, squirrels, and chipmunks. While there are no specific culinary offerings within the Enchanted Forest itself, you can find snacks and refreshments at the entrance.
