The primary activity at Peyto Lake is taking in the incredible views from the viewpoint. There are short, paved trails leading from the parking lot to various vantage points. Photography is a must! There are no restaurants or food vendors directly at Peyto Lake. It's best to pack your own snacks and drinks. Transportation
The lake is located along the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93 N). From Lake Louise, drive north for approximately 40 kilometers. The turnoff for Peyto Lake is well-signed. Parking can be limited, especially during peak season, so arrive early. There is no public transportation directly to Peyto Lake. You'll need a car or join a tour.
