The Balabanov House is located in the Old Town of Plovdiv, which is a pedestrian zone. It is best reached on foot. Several bus lines stop near the entrance to the Old Town, including lines 1, 6, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 26, 27, 29, 36, 37, 44, 93, and 116. Get off at a stop near the tunnel leading to the Old Town and walk up the hill.
