Transportation
The easiest way to reach Sokolski Monastery is by car. From Gabrovo, follow the signs towards the monastery, which is located about 15 kilometers south of the city. The road is paved but can be winding in places. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Gabrovo to the village of Etar, which is located near the monastery. From Etar, you can either walk to the monastery (approximately 30 minutes) or take a taxi.
