Perucica Primeval Forest, located within Sutjeska National Park in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is one of the last remaining primeval forests in Europe. Transportation
Reaching Perucica Primeval Forest requires travel to Sutjeska National Park. The nearest town is Tjentiste. Buses run from Sarajevo and other major cities to nearby towns, but you may need to arrange local transportation (taxi or pre-booked transfer) to reach Tjentiste and the park entrance. Once in the park, access to Perucica is primarily through guided tours.
