Simtokha Dzong, also known as Sangak Zabdhon Phodrang (Palace of Profound Secret Doctrine), stands as a testament to Bhutan's rich history and architectural prowess. Transportation
Taxis are the most convenient way to reach Simtokha Dzong from Thimphu. Alternatively, you can take a local bus heading towards Phuentsholing or other destinations south of Thimphu. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Simtokha Dzong. The dzong is located right next to the main road.
