Lhakhang Nagpo: The Black Temple of Haa Guide
Lhakhang Nagpo, or the Black Temple, is one of the two sacred temples that dominate the religious landscape of the Haa Valley. The temple is believed to have been built on the site of a former black magic practitioner's dwelling, hence the name "Black Temple." Lhakhang Nagpo is located near Haa town. You can reach Haa town by bus from Paro or Thimphu. From Haa town, you can hire a taxi or walk to the temple. The temple is easily accessible by road.
