The Streif is arguably the most famous and challenging downhill ski race course in the world, located in Kitzbühel, Austria. The Streif has been a part of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup since 1967 and is known for its incredibly steep slopes, challenging jumps, and icy conditions. The race is held annually in January and attracts thousands of spectators. The course is notorious for its demanding sections like the "Mausefalle" (Mouse Trap), a near-vertical drop at the start, and the "Hausbergkante," a jump that sends skiers soaring through the air.
