This was because the clock was originally designed to be seen from afar, and the hour hand needed to be more prominent. Over the centuries, the Clock Tower has survived wars, fires, and numerous attempts at demolition, solidifying its place as a symbol of Graz's resilience. The primary activity at the Clock Tower is enjoying the stunning views of Graz. You can reach the top either by climbing the stairs, taking the funicular, or using the Schlossberg lift.
